Over the course of the past year Donald Trump has shown himself to be exactly what most voters suspected he was: a fraud.
He has quickly forgotten the promises made to his base, which swarmed to him like moths to a lantern. He has displayed a level of ignorance bordering on stupidity when it comes to foreign affairs and the basic principles of governance. He has disgraced the office he holds through his tawdry tabloid behavior. He has espoused racist ideology through word and deed. He has used the mantle of his office for personal gain and raped the public coffers to support his lifestyle. He has lied repeatedly and deflected blame for every misstep of his administration.
I can only hope that at some point in the near future the Republican-controlled House will have the nerve to stand up and say enough. Despite the pending investigations, there is more than enough evidence to impeach.
The Trump family and their cronies have proven to be nothing more than parasites feeding on the office of the president.
