Another horrific bombing in Yemen was carried out recently by warplanes sold by the U.S. to Saudi Arabia, refueled in flight by the U.S. which enabled the long distance sortie, and facilitated by U.S. targeting. The latest strike hit a wedding party, first slamming the groom's men, then the women's group, killing the bride and dozens of others, mostly children.

The destruction of Yemen's infrastructure, health, water and sanitation facilities has led to a vast cholera epidemic of a million people and widespread malnutrition. The U.N. calls it the world's worst humanitarian crisis.

Meanwhile in the good old U.S.A., our government fetes the handsome Saudi crown prince/defense minister because he's in the market for yet more weaponry. Profiteering is more important than people.
