When I hear our national anthem or Pledge of Allegiance I get a feeling of honor and respect for all of those who fought for our freedoms we enjoy. Many gave their lives for us to have those freedoms.
Now, many overpaid NFL players are using football games as a venue to protest their issues because of the national exposure of televised games. Why don't these overpaid entertainers pay for their own televised air time for their protests.
Perhaps if enough folks see these disrespectful displays as I have they will also boycott NFL games. If so, sponsors and advertisers may notice a decline for their products.
I'm 74 years old and perhaps "old fashioned" in my belief of respect and honor. Everyone has the right to protest, just refrain from insulting all our servicemen and women.
