I agree with the Albany Post Office employee who said at a Council meeting that the city knew there was no parking when they allowed a permit for a huge Carousel building that takes up all of the land.
I read that the Post Office has lost more money than they did last year and is asking Congress to raise first class postage rates. The P.O. hasn't paid into its retirement fund since 2012. So, the Carousel inching away Albany Post Office's parking is added aggravation, which they don't need.
Albany has homelessness, streets in need of repair, and the usual array of problems, yet, at Council meetings they talk about parking for a merry-go-round! (Reminds me of Trump bashing the NFL and golfing at his golf estates rather than concentrating on helping devastated Puerto Rico.)
