In response to Mary Brock's recent letter: I like to look at the positive things this town has to offer.I suppose i could drive around this beautiful town and complain about everything we should be doing but no; I mean, why be negative? Sure, our tax dollars could be used to fix pot holes but we wouldn't have the carousel.
Last week i brought my grandkids to the carousel. It was such a positive experience; everyone was happy and had smiles on their faces, the lines were short, the parking was easy and the ice cream was cheap but good.
Ms. Brock, in this day and age with nuclear threats, natural disasters and fires, thank God we have our carousel. That $759,500 is a small price to pay for happiness.
Thank you, CARA!
