People with questions about comparing Medicare plans during open enrollment are invited to an informational meeting Monday, Nov. 13, at the Boys & Girls Club of Albany, 1215 Hill St. SE.
The meeting will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. It is sponsored by United Healthcare. Admission is free.
Participants will learn about the 2018 United Healthcare Medicare plans, get questions answered about plan changes and changes to Medicare, and can, if they choose, enroll in a United Healthcare plan. Materials and snacks will be provided.

Lewis and Clark
program Nov. 19
The Linn County Historical Society invites the public to a free program about Lewis and Clark at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Lakeside Center of the Mennonite Village, 2180 54th Ave. SE.
The speaker will be Roger Wendlick, who will portray George Drouillard, hunter and sign talker for the Lewis and Clark expedition.
