Computer crime — 6:21 p.m. Saturday, Walmart. Staff reported that someone has been switching UPC codes on merchandise. It is believed that nearly $600 worth of merchandise is involved. Under investigation.
Domestic abuse — 4:51 p.m. Sunday, 800 block Queen Avenue S.W. Ian Amen, 37, of Albany, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and domestic strangulation. He was charged after a fight with his girlfriend. He was lodged at the Linn County Jail.
Stolen tools — Noon Friday, 1200 block Queen Avenue S.W. Sometime after 7 p.m. Thursday, nearly $1,400 in tools was stolen from a home that is undergoing renovation by its owners. Tools were taken from inside and outside of the residence.

Domestic assault — 12:46 p.m. Sunday, 4100 block Lacomb Drive. James Rood, 34, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree domestic assault. Rood was lodged at the Linn County Jail and also faced a probation violation charge.

Theft — James Georgelis, 35, of Lebanon, was charged with first-degree theft. The crime allegedly took place on Friday. The Lebanon Police Department was the arresting agency.
Meth dealing — Joseph Raphael Gutierrez, 34, of Sweet Home, was charged with delivery of methamphetamine and possession of a restricted weapon. The crimes allegedly occurred on Feb. 23. The weapon in question was brass knuckles, according to the charging document. The Lebanon Police Department was the arresting agency.
