Mailbag: Maybe take Dems’ guns?

After reading all the letters over the past week or so regarding our sheriff, pro and con, it is time we all woke up and really work on the problem. Once you learn the truth, the outcome will be obvious.

The five worst mass killings do have a common thread and it is not the weapons used, but it is something that has been hidden from the public. Fort Hood killings? Registered Democrat. Columbine? Too young to vote or buy weapons, families registered Democrats, progressive liberals. Virginia Tech? Wrote hate mail to President Bush, registered Democrat. Colorado theater? Registered Democrat, staff worker on the Obama campaign, Occupy Wall Street participant. Connecticut School shooter? Registered Democrat, hated Christians. To my knowledge, all gun-free zones and none of those murdered had assault weapons.

Now I am sure that if the liberal media checked into this further they would find that President George Bush knew in advance that these were all going to happen and did nothing to stop it. But there is an answer to stop future killings such as these.

Pass a law, make it retroactive that Democrats are not allowed to have guns, and as we know all laws that are passed and bills that are pushed have little things hidden in them. Just sneak in a few lines that tell our sheriff that he can search the houses of registered Democrats to take their guns. No more crimes. Safe society.

Sheriff Mueller, thank you for what you have done. You woke up many agencies across the nation.

Larry Crompton

So Leroy, other than the viral email or Facebook post you reference can you prove any of these allegations true? It would be hard to prove that Nidal Hasan (the Ft. Hood shooter) was a democrat as neither Virginia (his state of residence) or Texas has partisan registration. This means you register to vote, you do not register as a republican or democrat.

    Prove, the list wrong!
    "Ft Hood: Registered Democrat/Muslim.
Columbine: Too young to vote; both families were registered Democrats and progressive liberals.
Virginia Tech: Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff.
Colorado Theater: Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal.
Connecticut School Shooter: Registered Democrat; hated Christians.
Common thread is that all of these shooters were progressive liberal Democrats."

Larry, of the over 3,000+ sheriffs in the land, only 200 or so sent the President a letter. That is less than 7% of the total. So your observation that Mueller's letter "woke up many agencies across the land" is as much horsedung as the rest of your brilliantly cribbed detective work. If we discount a third of the sheriffs letters for copycatting and a third for goose-stepping, we are left with around 2% who, like the national average in every other profession in the land, are likely mentally unbalanced. Why don't you and the rest of the Flat-Earthers start a movement to take their guns away from them?

    Hi Larry.

Your ideas are interesting. I would like to propose a similar law: retroactively confiscate computers from all crackpots, and make it illegal for them to write or post moronic letters to the editors of their local newspapers.

Please let me know what you think, my bill needs a co-sponsor.

WOW! Paint everybody with a broad brush!

Seems like there was some German guy in the 1930's that used government registries to take away the guns of those whom he disliked.

I doubt that anyone really wants that again.

Mr Compton, you obviously fit right in with Tim the Sheriff who vowed to do nothing because there is/was no law on the books to disobey. He did manage to generate support/future votes from ditto heads.

Since when are viral emails reported in the MSM? This one seems to be a hit with the RW Extremist blogosphere, but when a poster requests some sort of documentary, they get crickets. This garbage hasn't been reported because it has no truth to it.

Unless, of course, somebody can provide independent verification, Larry's letter is garbage.
