Outhouse theft – 12:02 p.m. Friday, 32100 block Arrowhead Way, Tangent. A portable outhouse was reported stolen from a residential construction site sometime during the last week. The outhouse was valued at roughly $1,100.
Hit-and-run – 12:39 a.m. Saturday, 36000 block Richardson Gap Road. A deputy responded to a trespass call and discovered debris dragging from a motor vehicle at the site. Dylan Thomas was taken to the Linn County Jail and cited on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, failure to perform the duties of a driver (property damage) and second-degree criminal mischief. He allegedly crashed his car into a guard rail on Richardson Gap Road and left the scene.
Cargo trailer theft – 9:27 a.m. Saturday, Evergreen Street, Millersburg. A cargo trailer was stolen from a construction site and found at Seven Mile Lane and Morgan Drive. The owner was unaware that the trailer was stolen until it was discovered.
Assault, crowbar vandalism – 11:04 a.m. Saturday, 48900 block Quartzville Road. Police responded to a report of assault and discovered that a man had, among other offenses, attacked a motor vehicle with a crowbar. Stephen Gregory, 51, was arrested on charges of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), fourth-degree assault, two counts of menacing, third-degree theft, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. His initial bail was set at $115,500, according to the Linn County Jail.
