LINN COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT
Supplying contraband — From Friday afternoon. Matthew Edward Maloney, 37, of Albany, was charged with supplying contraband and possession of a controlled substance schedule I.
Stolen vehicle arrest — No time listed, Thursday, 40200 block Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Timothy Lee Frakes, 51, was arrested on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.
LINN COUNTY SHERIFF
Burglary — 3:45 p.m. Thursday, 30600 block Fisher Street. A caller reported that someone entered his shop and took woodworking tools worth about $1,200. The crime occurred between May 4 and Monday, and the victim accidentally forgot to close his shop door.
Drive-through break-in — 6:33 a.m. Thursday, Burger King, 2095 S. Santiam Highway. The drive-through window was broken into and the office area entered. Police reports indicate a single male entered the building just before 2 a.m. The window and two cash registers were damaged, but nothing is believed to have been stolen.
Saved from fraud — 1:49 p.m. Thursday, Citizens Bank, 2122 S. Santiam Highway. A bank employee called police after an elderly woman tried to get $9,500 out of her bank account. The woman said she needed the money for her grandson, who broke his nose. The employee realized that the situation might be a scam. Police talked with the woman, who agreed not to send any money.

Stolen firearm — 9:25 a.m. Thursday, 2400 block Long Street. A caller reported his truck was entered and a firearm was stolen.
