Meth delivery – Billy Leroy Keating, 41, of Albany, was charged with delivery and possession of methamphetamine. The crimes allegedly occurred on Wednesday, and the offenses involved 10 grams or more of meth. His bail was set at $50,000. The Albany Police Department was the arresting agency in the case.

Strangulation – Austin Wayne Sater, 28, of Lebanon, was charged with felony strangulation domestic violence) and attempted fourth-degree assault. The crimes allegedly occurred on Saturday, with a female being the victim of the strangulation and a male listed as the victim of the attempted assault, according to the charging document. The incident was witnessed by a minor child, the charging document states. In court, both of the victims denied the accusations against Sater. His bail was set at $40,000. The Lebanon Police Department was the arresting agency in the case.

Burglary – Rochelle C. Smith, 21, of Corvallis, was charged with first-degree burglary. The crime allegedly occurred on Sunday in the 1100 block of Maple Street in Albany. The charging document states that Smith broke into a residence with the intent of committing the crime of menacing. The Albany Police Department was the arresting agency.

Burglary – Johnny Ray Truett, 48, of Lebanon, was charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault. The crimes allegedly occurred on Saturday in the 30000 block of Fairview Road near Lebanon. The victim listed in the case is a male, and the charging document states that Truett broke into a residence with the intent of committing the crime of assault inside. Truett was given a conditional release from jail. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office was the arresting agency in the case.

Burglary tools — About 3:11 p.m. Friday, Ryan Rikala, 31, was arrested for possession of burglary tools, and on warrants from parole and probation, and the Lebanon Police Department — probation violation, resisting arrest and third-degree escape.

Money missing — About 3:16 p.m. Saturday, a grandmother said her grandson stole money from her. She brought him to the police department where he was charged with second-degree theft. He was booked, cited and released.

Concealed weapon — Timothy Ames Jr., 28, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for possession of methamphetamine and carrying a concealed weapon about 12:08 a.m. Monday. He was lodged at the Linn County Jail.

LINN COUNTY SHERIFF

Criminal trespass — At 9 a.m. Sunday, Joseph Adamski, 30, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass after entering a residence in the 34000 block of Tennessee Road on Saturday.

Abandoned vehicle — At 9:53 a.m. Sunday, State Forester found a 1998 Chevrolet Metro about 3.4 miles north of Kingwood Ave. near the North Rock Creek 500 road. The vehicle had overturned and was burned. Registration showed it belonged to an 82-year-old man who lives in a care home in Keizer. Contact made with family member.

Stolen truck — About 8 a.m. Sunday, caller reported a Ford F150 pickup had been stolen overnight from the 28000 block of Highway 20. Vehicle was later impounded by the Sweet Home Police Department after it was found blocking a lane of travel.
