Love Love burglary — 8:47 a.m. Wednesday, Love Love Teriyaki, 14th Avenue. The back door was damaged to gain entry to the restaurant sometime the previous night, and $50 in change was taken. About $1,000 in damage was done to the rear door.
Burglary — 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, 900 block of Scenic Drive. A residence was entered through a side garage door that was forced open. About $400 cash, $100 in older coins, $80 in quarters, passports and a white 2003 Buick Rendezvous worth $6,500 were stolen. The burglary occurred between 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
Stolen equipment — 6:58 p.m., 3100 block of 13th Avenue. A device to test fiber optic cables, worth $8,000, was stolen from the front porch of a residence. The device was sent to the residence via UPS on Nov. 29, and stolen that day.
Linn County Sheriff
Assault arrest — 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Linn County Jail. Richard Thomas Fraga, 44, of Albany was arrested on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). His initial bail was set at $50,000.
Burglary — 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, 2100 block of Mountain View Lane, near Lebanon. Electronics, jewelry, 500 compact discs, and clothing was stolen. The loss value was $4,200. The house was vandalized during the burglary, which occurred sometime between midnight and 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Firearms burglary — 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, 400 block of Cedar Street, Lyons. Eight firearms and a digital camera were stolen sometime between 1 and 11 p.m. The loss value was $2,600.
Stolen tailgate — 9:01 a.m. Wednesday, “zero” block of N. Eighth Street. A caller reported that the tailgate was stolen off his Nissan pickup sometime between Monday and Tuesday night. The caller estimated the value of the tailgate at $400.
Sweet Home Police
RR theft — 7:54 a.m. Wednesday, 53rd Avenue and the railroad tracks. Electrical equipment, lights and framing were reported stolen. The loss value was $10,000.
