People arrested are innocent unless proven otherwise in court. Initial charges often change as a case progresses.

Albany Police

Porn theft — 11 p.m. Thursday, Adult Shop. A caller reported that a suspect stole three videos from the store. The shop’s sensor went off when the man left the store, and when a clerk followed the man outside, the man dropped the videos, then grabbed them and ran off. The store’s video camera captured an image of the suspect.

Lebanon Police

Suspicious activity — 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Green Acres School. A female driver apparently yelled at children on the playground. An officer responded to the school and talked to a seven-year-old. It was unknown exactly what was said to the children. The driver did not attempt to contact the students other than yelling at them. No crime apparently occurred, but the incident was documented.
