ALBANY POLICE

Stolen vehicle arrest — No time listed, Wednesday, 1300 block Goldfish Farm Road. Noelle Monique Lerma, 18, was arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

LINN COUNTY SHERIFF

Car prowl — 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, 500 block Fifth Street, Lebanon. A car was entered through an unlocked door and prescription sunglasses valued at $1,000 were stolen, along with a work badge and other items. The total loss value was roughly $1,100.

Animal carcass — 9:58 a.m. Wednesday, 33600 block Kauffman Road. Victor Cid Flores, 50, was cited for placing an offensive substance on property after authorities received reports of animal remains on his land not being disposed of properly. A deputy who investigated found dead sheep. The Oregon Department of Agriculture also was notified about the case regarding potential permitting issues.

Recovered ATV — 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, Monument Peak Road. An ATV was parked on timber land with no one around, and appeared to have recently been left there. The deputy discovered that the ATV had been stolen from Klamath County in 2013.

Injury crash — 10:56 a.m. Wednesday, 43700 block North River Drive. A teen lost control on a sweeping left curve at the Gedney Creek Boat Ramp entrance. Andrew Fox, 18, of Foster, received a possible concussion during the crash and was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

Stolen trailer — 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, 37900 block Century Drive. A black goose neck trailer worth $10,000 was reported stolen from the location. The trailer has “110 Hotshot” in neon green on the goose neck portion.

LEBANON POLICE

Recovered vehicle — 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, 2100 block S. Santiam Highway. A vehicle was reported as abandoned, but turned out to be stolen. The 1996 white Honda Accord was taken sometime on Dec. 21 or Dec. 22 from the employee parking lot at the U.S. Post Office in Lebanon.

Dog cite — 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, 100 block E. Grant St. A dog lunged at a 79-year-old woman, startling her and causing her to fall backwards. Police reports indicate the dog was not on a leash at the time, but was then put on a leash by its owner. The woman was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis with a possible broken hip. Korey Joe Conway, 50, was cited for allowing a dog to become a public nuisance.

SWEET HOME POLICE

Can shed theft — 2:13 p.m. Wednesday, 400 block Osage Street. A can shed was broken into and the door was broken. The theft happened sometime in the last two weeks. A report was taken for second-degree criminal mischief and for second-degree theft. The loss value from the criminal mischief was roughly $200 and the loss value from the theft also was approximately $200.

Heroin overdose — 3:11 a.m. Thursday, 1200 block 49th Avenue. A 21-year-old male overdosed on heroin at the location and was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.
