Pocket rocket — 10:36 a.m. Wednesday, 900 block of Walker Road. A caller reported that someone had gone through the garage. A 50cc pocket bike (motorcycle), a generator and a battery were taken from a camping trailer.

Slashed tire — 3 p.m. Wednesday, 2400 block of South Second Street. A caller reported that a tire on his vehicle had been cut, leaving a 1-inch puncture in the sidewall. 


Oh, deer! — 7:49 p.m Wednesday, 2300 block of Brush Creek Road, Sweet Home. A caller reported a noninjury vehicle accident. The driver said she swerved to avoid hitting a deer and wrecked her vehicle. She was not injured, but her vehicle sustained significant damage.

Trespassing — 11:44 p.m. Wednesday, Pioneer Villa, near Halsey. A man was arrested for trespassing and refused to leave. He was offered a courtesy ride and other offers but refused. The man was uncooperative, taken into custody and transported to the Linn County Jail on a charge of criminal trespass.


Debit card — 1 p.m. Wednesday, 1100 block of 10th Avenue. A caller reported that someone has been using his debit card for the last two months.

Meth pipe — 6:36 a.m. Thursday, 900 block of Oak Terrace. A caller reported a vehicle break-in. A meth pipe was left inside.


Supplying contraband — From Wednesday afternoon. Donald Ray Gamble of Sweet Home was charged with six counts of supplying contraband, resisting arrest and possession of methamphetamine. The crimes occurred from May to November.

Attempt to elude — From Wednesday afternoon. Bryson Verl Setzkorn, 28, of Albany, was charged with reckless driving, felony fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer (by vehicle), and driving while suspended. The crimes allegedly occurred on Jan. 15. Setzkorn also was charged with probation violation in four separate cases.

Third-degree robbery — From Thursday afternoon. Josiah Andrew Bybee, 18, of Lebanon, was charged with third-degree robbery and harassment. The crimes occurred on Wednesday. In a separate case, Bybee was arraigned on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear. The trespass allegedly occurred in Lebanon on March 2, and the failure to appear allegedly occurred on Monday.
