Judith Ellen “Judy” Renyer, 71, passed away of natural causes in Corvallis with family by her side.
She was born and raised in Portland by her mother Ellen Rowlands Casebere and her adoptive father Burl Cordes Casebere. She was the second of four children.
Growing up, she was a member of the Kelly Cadets Majorettes marching team and was a proficient baton twirler, receiving numerous awards and accolades.
She married Phillip Renyer and they had one son, Greg.
She later moved to Cornelius, Oregon, where she owned her own business, People Talk answering service in Forest Grove.
After retiring, she moved to Albany to be closer to her family. As an adult, she enjoyed traveling and went on many world cruises. In addition, she loved spending time with her family, watching movies, TV, and especially old westerns.
She was most proud of her son and family. She was incredibly strong and brave, having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as a young adult.
She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brothers, Alan Casebere and Don Casebere; sister, Carol Casebere; son, Greg and wife Jennifer; and two grandchildren, Karissa and Nick.
A celebration of life will be held later this spring.
