Judith “Judy” Anne Marcum, 66, of Lebanon died Monday at Avamere Rehabilitation of Lebanon.

Judy was born in Eugene to Douglas Stevenson and Donna Powers. She grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany Union High School. She married John Gage in 1966 and they later divorced. Judy then married her long-time partner of 26 years, Lewis Marcum, on April 22, 2007, in Lebanon. Judy worked for many years caring for others and those who couldn’t care for themselves. She enjoyed reading mysteries and true crime, word finds and playing games. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and loved to spend every minute she could with them. Judy was always there for anyone who needed assistance and many family members came to rely on her. She was known to many as “Mom.”

Judy is survived by husband Lewis Marcum of Lebanon; daughter Sharla and husband Robert Mesecher of Lebanon; grandchildren Kira and Justin; parents-in-law Raymond and Phyllis Mitchell of Lebanon; sisters Pamela Smith of Redding, Calif., and Carol Kelley of Oak Harbor, Wash.; and brothers Robert Desper of Albany, and Harold and wife Rose Ross of Albany.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

To honor her wishes, there will be no memorial service.

Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
