John Kulick, 61, of Albany died Saturday in Missouri.

He was born in Visalia, Calif., the son of Harry and Rose (Kroby) Kulick. He lived in central San Joaquin Valley, Calif., until moving his company, Crystal Valley Decorating, to Albany three years ago.

John married Vela Lorene Baker on March 5, 1988, in Virginia City, Nev.

He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid outdoorsman and family man.

John is survived by wife Vela Kulick of Albany; children Monica Frantzak of Utah, Natalie Bohlae of Clovis, Calif., Shandra Milstein of Corvallis, Thomas Collins of Oklahoma and Tammy Koll of Clovis; parents Harry and Rose Kulick of Three Rivers, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers Mike Kulick of Mariposa, Calif., and George Kulick of Three Rivers, Calif.

There will be an open casket visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Home.
