Gary Hagan, 75, of Albany, passed away Saturday at the Samaritan Albany General Hospital.
Gary was born in Lexington, Nebraska to Elmer P. and Roberta (Ball) Hagan. He grew up in Lexington and moved to Oregon in 1960.
On May 24, 1992 he married Susie Fraba in Reno, Nevada.
Gary worked for Wah Chang for 30 years.
He loved woodworking, camping, and watching Nascar.
Gary and Susie enjoyed wintering in Yuma, Arizona and he will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his favorite quote, “It ain’t gonna happen.”.
Gary is survived by his wife, Susie; children, Richard(Cherie) Hagan of Jefferson, Cindy(Jeff) Wibbens of Albany, and Chrystal(Nate) Jones of Jefferson; brothers, Dan(Jan) Hagan of Albany, Bud(June) Hagan of Salem, and Louis Hagan of Mason City, Nebraska; sister, Karen Wilson of Monroe; seven grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joy Baker, Delores Bowden, Alice Brinson, and Dorothy Williams.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
