BINGO! was the name of her game.
Beverly was born to Iva Pearl and Ralph Benedict and was raised by her mom and stepdad, Rut Lidick. She grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952.
Beverly married Ernest Boege in 1953 and they eventually moved to Oregon. They were divorced in 1975.
She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital after 42 years.
During her life, she enjoyed raising her five children. She loved reading, playing cribbage, taking trips to the coast, sewing, and she was very fond of playing Bingo.
Beverly was a member of the College United Methodist Church in Philomath, the Eagles and the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Ernest H. Boege of Albany; daughters, Debra Hermansen and husband, Mike of Albany, Donna Rova and husband, Jim of Eugene, Linda McDaniel of Corvallis, Kathy Rowland-Barnes of Philomath; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest H. Boege III, in 1996.
A BINGO party memorial will be held in her honor at 5 p.m. on February 24, 2018, at the Albany Eagles Club.
