Robert "Rob" Mills, 39, of Lebanon died Friday at his home of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
He was born in Santa Rosa, Calif., to Dennis and Harriet Mills. He grew up in Lebanon and attended Milo Adventist Academy in Canyonville.
He graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology and interned at Our Sisters of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La.
Rob was a registered vascular technician at Rogue Valley Hospital. He developed the Bridgecreek Specialized Care Facility with his family in Lebanon in honor of his grandmother Florence Langham. He was the executive director of the facility since its opening on Sept. 5, 2000.
He married wife Lana on Aug. 3, 2001.
He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling in the Canadian Rockies, bird watching, and taking photos of wildlife and nature. He loved training and spending time with his Brittney Spaniel, Mocha.
He is survived by wife Lana Mills of Lebanon; sons Clint Ufford of Lebanon and Kenny Ufford of Portland; daughter Kelsey Ufford of Lebanon; parents Dennis and Harriet Mills; brother Denny Mills, and sisters Patty Werner and Lindy Mills.
A memorial service for all will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Lebanon Seventh-day Adventist Church, 690 S. 10th St., Lebanon, with Pastors Hall, Cole and Allen officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice.
