Stanley Wayne Allen, 54, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Saturday.
Stan was born in Alameda, Calif., to Burnell and Betty (Sigward) Allen.
At age 17, he joined the Navy, serving our country for six years. Upon leaving the Navy, Stan returned to La Pine and spent two years building a trailer park for his parents.
Stan's hobbies included racing cars, building computers and rebuilding motorcycles. He loved computers and computer games, and ran a gaming store for the youth community in Burien, Wash., for several years.
Stan is survived by his long time sweetheart and wife, Margot; parents Betty and Burnell; brother Glen; two sons, Erik and Steven; and nine grandchildren.
A graveside memorial was at 1 p.m. today at Willamette National Cemetery.
Stan loved life and had many friends. We will miss him.
