Allen Otto Rickman, 88, of Sweet Home died Sunday at his home.

He never married and is survived by his nieces, Bonnie Rickman, Carol and husband Roger Conroy, and Debbie and husband Joe Hodges; nephews Steve Rickman, and Neil and wife Tamara; sister-in-law Patricia Rickman; eight great-nieces and nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daryl Rickman of Portland, in 2007.

Contributions in his name may be made to the East Linn Museum.

A celebration of life to remember him will be at

2 p.m. Saturday at his home of 57 years.
