Rogelio Torres-Nunez of Albany was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of sexual abuse Monday.
Torres-Nunez, 43, was sentenced by Judge Carol Bispham to a 60-day sentence on the first count and two consecutive 14-month sentences on the remaining two counts. Torres-Nunez will also face five years of probation, less his time served, once he is released.
The sentencing stems from an October case in which Nunez-Torres was charged with seven counts of first degree sex abuse against an adolescent girl. Four counts were dismissed in the plea agreement.
