Albany Parks & Recreation Department is offering a class in creating a Halloween banner, with instructor Sandra Lewis.

Banners are all over Pinterest, YouTube and blogging websites. Lewis will teach participants how to get professional results that can be used on banner projects for all occasions, and will give participants the option of making a small banner to take home.

Class will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Albany Senior Center, 489 Water Ave. N.W.

Cost is $12 for Albany residents or $16 for those living outside the city limits. All participants pay a $5 supply fee.

For information or to register, call Albany Parks & Recreation at 541-917-7777 or visit www.albanyparksandrecreation.org.
