The Albany Public Schools Foundation annual “iSwim for Kids” has been set for 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Albany Community Pool.
Formerly known as Swim-a-Lap, the event splits the pledge money students collect between the foundation and the classroom of the collecting student.
Bonus money is awarded to the school and classroom collecting the most in pledges.
The foundation uses the funds for classroom grants, which in years past have gone toward musical instruments, art supplies, P.E. equipment and software.
Pledge forms are available at school offices. To donate, collect pledges or learn more about iSwim, see the foundation’s website at http://albanypublicschoolsfoundation.org.
