HARRISBURG — The annual Christmas Light Parade will be held today starting at 7 p.m. at Harrisbug High School.

The parade will proceed north to Territorial, west to the highway, south to Smith and back to the high school.

According to City Manager Bruce Cleeton, as soon as the parade passes the museum at 490 Smith St., a community open house will begin at the picnic pavilion at the museum. It will include a visit by Santa, Christmas carols, free hot drinks and cookies.

There will be a collection jar for donations to God’s Storehouse.

The Library Guild will sell popcorn, polish dogs and chili dogs inside the Justice Center in the old City Hall at 354 Smith St.
