SWEET HOME — At approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, the Sweet Home Police Department served a search warrant based on a narcotics investigation at 927 27th Ave. that resulted in several arrests.

Sweet Home officers were assisted by the Linn County Regional SWAT Team, Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Police Department and the Albany Police Department.

According to Police Chief Jeff Lynn, Ashley Kay Miles, 27, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, frequenting a place where drugs are used/sold, a parole violation warrant and Linn County Justice Warrant for first-degree failure to appear. She was lodged at Linn County Jail.

George Josef Drexler, 41, was taken into custody on a Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant for contempt of court and parole violation as well as charged with possession of methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used/sold. He was lodged at the Linn County Jail.

Heather Marie Richner, 35, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used/sold. She was lodged at Linn County Jail.

Stephanie Lynn Arnold, 42, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used/sold. She was lodged at Linn County Jail.

According to Lynn, the homeowner, Paul Kalina, 40, is a suspect listed in this case and currently has pending charges of possession of methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used/sold.

During the investigation, detectives seized evidence related to methamphetamine use and sales.

Lynn said the narcotics investigation was opened by the Sweet Home Police Department due to ongoing frequent short stay traffic and suspicious activity related to the occupants at the residence.

A search warrant was executed at the same residence in July 2015. Several suspects contacted during that incident have pending charges related to that investigation.
