Public Easter egg hunts and related events are scheduled through Sunday in the mid-valley.
FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD - An Easter egg hunt is scheduled for 10 a.m. today at the church, 2817 Santiam Highway S.E. For children age 2 through fifth grade. Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. Free. Information: 926-2291.
EASTER BUNNY AT THE MALL - The Easter Bunny will be at the Heritage Mall, 1895 14th Ave. S.E., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today. A variety of photo packages are available.
EASTER BUNNY DOWNTOWN - The Easter Bunny will make rounds at downtown stores from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. Parents can bring cameras to take pictures of their children with the bunny. For more information, call the Albany Downtown Association at 928-2469.
HERITAGE MALL - Activities with Mrs. Bunny's Garden will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. today at Heritage Mall, 1895 14th Ave. S.E. NATIONAL GUARD FAMILY PROGRAM - The National Guard Family Program of Lebanon will host an Easter celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Timberlinn Park, with funds raised in August and September 2006 by AMC Harley Davidson and the Pioneer Chapter H.O.G. to show local soldiers and families that the sacrifices they have made are not forgotten. The celebration will include soldiers and families from Lebanon, Corvallis and Albany units, and two certificates of appreciation will be given donors. There will be an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny for the children, and a free raffle for the adults.
MONTEITH RIVERPARK - The Albany Eagles will hold an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Sunday at Monteith Riverpark.
WHITESPIRES CHURCH - Whitespires Church will hold its annual Easter breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, 510 Fifth Ave. S.W. The free breakfast will include special music and a traditional Easter service at 11 a.m.
PIONEER PARK - The annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Central Linn Recreation Center will be at 1 p.m. today in Pioneer Park. Hunters must bring their own baskets. The participants will be divided into age groups: 0 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 to 12. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded in each age category. Information: (541) 466-3084.
EASTER EGG HUNT - The Oaks at Lebanon will host an egg hunt at 2:30 p.m. today at the Oaks, 621 West Oak St.
COMMUNITY BREAKFAST AND EGG HUNT - The fourth annual Community Breakfast and Egg Hunt will begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Fairview Community Church, 30337 Fairview Road. Guest speaker will be Staff Sgt. Christian Bagge.
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH - An egg hunt will start at 10 a.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, 1890 S. Second St. Breakfast will be served before the hunt at 9 a.m.
CENTURY PARK - The Lebanon Jaycees will put on their annual free Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Sunday at Century Park on Fifth Street. There will be four categories by age of egg hunters: walking to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 to 12. Donations will be gladly accepted.
EASTER BLAST 2007 - An egg hunt, bounce house, face painting, animal balloons, inflatables, puppets and food will all be part of the festivities from noon to 2 p.m. today at Green Acres Elementary School, 700 10th St. Registration for the free event will begin at 11:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Lebanon First Assembly of God. SCIO HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STADIUM - The free annual egg hunt put on by the Scio Volunteer Firefighters begins at 10 a.m. today at the stadium. Participants should bring their own baskets and arrive at 9:45 a.m.
SANKEY PARK - The 16th annual Sweet Home Easter Egg Hunt, for children 10 and under, will be at 11 a.m. today at Sankey Park. The hunt is sponsored by the Sweet Home Rotary Club.
