NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts was cited for speeding in Lebanon at about 10 a.m. Thursday.
Fouts, 62, was going 40 in a 25 mph zone when he was pulled over at West Airport Road near Airway Road, according to Lebanon Police Department logs.
Little information about the incident was available on Friday, including what type of vehicle Fouts was driving.
There also was no word on whether he was passing.
Fouts is one of the most prolific passers in NFL history.
He starred in college for the Oregon Ducks and played for 15 seasons with the San Diego Chargers.
The longtime resident of the Sisters area currently is a sports analyst for CBS.
