The Albany Fire Department will hold a car seat clinic from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Station 12, 120 34th Ave. S.E.
If you have a car seat and need it installed properly, or have a seat already installed and want to be sure it is in correctly, you are invited to attend this free event. Seats donated by the fire department are limited to one per child per family.
The department is also accepting used car seats for recycling. If you have a seat you would like recycled, remove all fabric and padding prior to dropping it off at the clinic.
For more information, contact Deputy Fire Marshal Shannon Snippen at (541) 917-7732.
