The AARP Tax-Aide program has trained and certified volunteers who will prepare and file your federal income tax return with the IRS, free of charge. The volunteers are available to help low-to moderate-income taxpayers through April 15. All of the tax returns are prepared on computers and are e-filed at no cost.

The volunteers are working out of four locations in Albany, Lebanon and Sweet Home; Albany call 541-917-7760, Lebanon and Sweet Home call 541-258-4919 for locations and times.

In 2013 sixty-three Tax-Aide volunteers filed over 3200 federal and state tax returns, with an earned income credit value of approximately $875,000 within Benton and Linn Counties. The AARP Tax-Aide is locally sponsored by RSVP and its partner locations.
