The Searchers Circle of the United Methodist Women will meet at
9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Fireside Room at the First Methodist Church, 1115 28th Ave. S.W., Albany.
Eastside Christian plans harvest party
Eastside Christian Church will host a harvest party from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1910 Grand Prairie Road S.E., Albany.
The party will feature a pirate ship bouncer, carnival games, cotton candy hot dogs and lots of candy. Costumes are welcome. For information call (541) 928-9349.

The Baha'i Faith will celebrate the Birth of Baha'u'llah at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Stoneybrook Village Clubhouse in Corvallis.

Hymn Sing will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday,
Nov. 1, at the Mennonite Village Chapel, 5353 Columbus St. S.E.
Music will be led by Everett Winter from the First Church of God.
United Methodist Women plan fundraiser
Albany United Methodist Women will host a fundraiser from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Methodist Church, 1115 28th Ave. S.W.
There will be a chicken supreme luncheon and sales of homemade candies, baked goods, crafts and more. Money raised will go to support Mid-Valley Housing Plus, St. Mary's Soup Kitchen, FISH of Albany, Mighty Oaks, Interfaith Caregivers, the Salvation Army and others. Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children.
