Video seminar planned at Oak Creek center

"Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage," a video seminar hosted by pastor, motivational speaker, musician and writer Mark Gungor, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Oak Creek Christian Center, 5775 Columbus St. S.E., Albany.

Cost is $15 per person or $29 per couple.

First Church of Albany to honor veterans

First Church of Albany will be honoring veterans in a special tribute at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, at the church, 1225 15th Ave. S.W., Albany.

The congregation would love to see as many people wearing their uniforms as possible.
