First Christian hosts All Church Halloween

An All-Church Halloween Party will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, 432 Ferry St. S.W., in Albany.

All are encouraged to wear costumes, but it is not required. There will be food, fun and games for all ages. Bring a potluck dish to share and your table service.

Scio Oakview Church to celebrate 115th year

SCIO - Scio Oakview Community Church of God will celebrate its 115th anniversary at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, 38181 Gilkey Road.

This church is one of the oldest in Oregon. All are invited to attend the service and enjoy coffee, punch and finger food afterward.

Children's ministry workshop at Hillside

SWEET HOME - A children's ministry workship titled "How to make the most of your children's programs" will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurday, Nov. 5, at Hillside Fellowship, 501 Nandina St.

Cost is $20 per person.

'Theory of Everything' class at Spiritual Living

CORVALLIS - The class "Simple 123: Theory of Everything" will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, with a workshop to follow from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Spritual Living Center, 2601 N.W. Tyler.

Two clinics about surviving the holidays are planned at the Oak Creek Christian Center, 5775 Columbus St. S.E. in Albany.

The workbook for each clinic costs $5

A Surviving the Holidays After Separation or Divorce clinic will be held from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9.

Surviving the Holidays after the Loss of a Loved One will be from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2.

Dinner, auction will aid Christian women's club

LEBANON - "Bid It Up," a dinner and auction to support projects by the Lebanon Christian Women's Club, will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the Lebanon Community Schools Administration District Office, 485 S. Fifth St.

Cost is $8.50 and includes dinner. There will be complimentary child care.
