The feature documentary film "Walk With Me," about Zen Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh, will show at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in the Horizon Room of Oregon State University's Memorial Union, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis.
"Walk With Me," narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, goes inside a Zen Buddhist community to profile people who have given up all their possessions and signed up for a life of chastity to transform their suffering, and practice the art of mindfulness with the famed teacher Thich Nhat Hanh.
The screening is brought to Corvallis and OSU by the Mindfulness Living Learning Community, a partnership between two university departments: University Housing and Dining Services and Counseling and Psychological Services. A post film discussion will be led by Dr. Dee Denver, an OSU faculty member from the Department of Integrative Biology.
The screening is free. For more information, see http://bit.ly/2nwcG3n.
