The Arts Center and Oregon State University Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) are seeking artwork for "Art Saves Lives," a pop-up show in May directed at furthering the dialogue on mental health.
The Arts Center, Art With Impact (AWI), and OSU CAPS are combining their efforts in this exhibit for May Mental Health Awareness month.
What they seek is art that expresses the complex emotions, experiences and stories surrounding mental illnesses and its impact on individuals. Artists must live in Oregon and be age 15 and over. Submissions will be accepted digitally.
Submission deadline is midnight April 28. The exhibition will run May 22-26 at The Arts Center, 700 SW Madison Ave., Corvallis.
Part of the proceeds of the events will go to the charity organization Art With Impact (AWI).
