Printmaker Minna Resnick will speak at 7 p.m. Jan. 25, at Oregon State University as part of the School of Arts & Communication's Visiting Artists and Scholars Lecture Series.

The talk will take place in Room No. 13 at the Memorial Union, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis. A reception with the artist will be at 6 p.m. in the same location.

Resnick is the 2018 Norma Seibert Printmaking Artist. She will be in residence on campus for a week and will spend time reviewing and critiquing student artwork.

A native of New York City now based in Ithaca, N.Y., Resnick has work in more than 60 public and private collections and in the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum of New York, the Denver Art Museum, the New York Public Library, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and many more. She is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and two New York Foundation for Arts Fellowships.

Her work in lithography and drawing has always focused on language.
