ADAIR VILLAGE — Scio High had four individual champions and the Loggers cruised to the team title at the Screamin’ Eagle wrestling tournament on Saturday.

Jacob Mask (138), Brandon Zeihler (152), Dru Cool (182) and Jacob Lowther (285) took home titles for the Loggers.

Scio was first with 208.5 points while Corvallis was second (159.5), Philomath third (159), host Santiam Christian fifth (103.5) and Monroe ninth (54.5).

For Scio, Adam Stratemeyer (160) was second while Kade Mask (120), Hunter Zeihler (126), Bryce West (132) and Tristen Hanes (170) were third.

For Corvallis, Ramses Villicana (126) and Baily Epperson (145) took second with Izaak Worsch (160) and Cade O’Brien (195) finishing third.

Philomath’s Kaltin Benson (132), James Howell (160) and Brooks Stearns (195) won individual titles, while Anthony Rath (128), Kalvin Schunn (195) and Kane Rust (285) were second.

SC’s Jason Manzi (145) took home first while Austin Bradford (113) and Luke Jansen (138) were second and Aaron Schufer (285) third.

Monroe’s Louden Ballard (132) was second and Zack Esplin (182) third.

King of the Hill

PLEASANT HILL — Central Linn’s Hunter McIrvin (120) took home an individual title and five other Cobras came in second to help lead the team to a second-place finish at the King of the Hill tournament.

The Cobras (132) were edged by 6A Sheldon (136) for the title.

Central Linn’s Cory Stutz (106), Caleb Day (138), Mike Day (145), Cameron Mckee (152) and Mason Sloan (170) were second while Tony Belcastro (126), Jimmy North (195) and Justin Malone (285) were third.
