Bailey Evers led four Linn-Benton players with 15 points Wednesday night as the Roadrunners earned a 79-71 Northwest Athletic Conference South Region victory over visiting Lane.

Taylor Jensen and Philomath High graduate Trey Ecker tallied 13 points apiece for the Roadrunners while Trent Van Cleave added 11. Jensen, a freshman from Forest Grove, added 21 rebounds, three assists and two steals.

LBCC coach Everett Hartman said his team "played a good second half," when the Roadrunners pushed the tempo. LBCC outscored Lane in the half 41-32.

Keaton McKay paced Lane, which led 39-38 at halftime, with 26 points and six boards. Oregon State signee Kylor Kelley had 13 points, three blocks and two rebounds.

OSU coach Wayne Tinkle was in attendance to watch Kelley, a 7-foot-1 center. 

LBCC (13-6, 3-3) will play Mt. Hood in Gresham on Saturday.
