Mary-Kate Marshall, McKenna Hollingsworth and Lanesha Reagan all finished with double-doubles to lead the Oregon State volleyball team to a five-set Pac-12 win over Colorado in a thrilling match Saturday night at Gill Coliseum.
Set scores were 25-15, 23-25, 25-17, 18-25, 15-13.
The Beavers scored six of the last seven points in the deciding fifth set. A kill by Toner gave the Beavers the match, and the senior started the run with her 13th kill to pull the Beavers to within two at 12-10. She and Kory Cheshire teamed together on a block to make it a one-point match, and Reagan evened the score with her final kill of the night and 16th overall.
An attack error on Colorado put the Beavers up, and Kayla Ellis gave Oregon State match point with a service ace.
Marshall led Oregon State offensively, recording 21 kills on 58 attacks. She hit .310 on the night, and added 14 digs for the double double.
Reagan's 11th double-double of the season came via her 16 kills and 13 digs. The redshirt sophomore added a service and solo block.
Hollingsworth, meanwhile, registered her double-double thanks to 32 assists and 12 digs.
Oregon State (11-16, 4-12) hit .260 for the match, and kept Colorado to a .209 clip. The Buffaloes narrowly out-dug Oregon State, 77-72, with Ellis and Marshall tying for the Oregon State team lead at 14.
Colorado (13-13, 5-11) also out-blocked Oregon State, 13.5-to-10, but the Beavers held a distinct advantage in kills — 69-56 — and service aces, racking up three to the Buffaloes' three. Marshall paced OSU with two.
Oregon State returns to action Wednesday night when visiting UCLA at 8 p.m.
