The Oregon State women's soccer team has signed eight players for the 2018 season, coach Linus Rhode said Thursday.

The newest Beavers are Helena Brown, Emma Deane, Madison Ellsworth, Ilihiananiohawaiiloa Keawekane, Taylie Liddell, Gabrielle Hackbarth, Bridgette Skiba and Sydney Studer. They will join the team this August.

"This is very athletic class that I think will adapt very quickly to the physical demands and the technical level of the Pac-12," Rhode said. "We are very excited to have these [women] join our program."

Brown (Happy Valley, Ore.) played club soccer for Crossfire United. She was part of the state ODP travel team for four years, as well as a three-year regional camp participant. Brown helped lead her team to a 2012 State Cup.
