Former Oregon State head football coach Mike Riley will work as an assistant coach with the Beavers for $50,004 a year.

Riley, who will coach tight ends, has a two-year contract and receives a $35,000 signing bonus. He reportedly signed the contract on Jan. 9.

Nebraska will also be paying Riley through the end of his contract, which expires in 2021. His buyout was $6.63 million through that time and he will be paid $165,833 per month after the deduction of his monthly pay at OSU.

Riley was the Cornhuskers' coach for the past three seasons but was fired in late November.

The Beavers have been able to spend a little more on current OSU coach Jonathan Smith's staff.

New offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren will make $500,004 a year for a three-year contract. That's up from the $375,000 made by former OC Kevin McGiven.

Offensive line coach Jim Michalczik has a two-year contract and will get paid $425,004 a year. T.J. Woods made $375,000 last year but was the co-offensive coordinator with McGiven along with his offensive line duties.

Special teams coach Jake Cookus has a two-year deal worth $200,004 a year.

Oregon State has not finalized contract information for defensive coordinator Tim Tibesar, defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa, defensive backs coach Greg Burns, inside linebackers coach Trent Bray, receivers coach Kefense Hynson and running backs coach Michael Pitre.
