Scottish folksinger and songwriter Jim Malcolm will perform, in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Friends Meeting House, 3311 NW Polk Ave. in Corvallis.

Malcolm, Scotland's songwriter of the year in 2004 and three-time nominee for the Scots Singer of the Year, has made four recordings as the lead vocalist for the group Old Blind Dogs. He went on to record 16 more albums on his own with his wife, Suzie. Malcolm performs original songs, ballads and the works of Robert Burns, with guitar and harmonicas.
