The eleventh annual Winter Rod and Speed Show returns to the Linn County Fair and Expo Center, January 19-20. Over 100 hot rods, custom trucks, street rods, motorcycles and race cars from as far away as California and as close by as Albany will be in the spot light. New this year is live music on Friday Night as the band “The Uncommon Denominators” takes the stage! This group plays 60’s and 70’s rock and classic hits!
Featured this year is the “Death Mobile” inspired by the movie Animal House. Also new is Garry Fauble’s beautiful new Patriot Studebaker blown alcohol Pro Mod. Returning this year after a two year absence are the 300 MPH Warped Speed Jet cars and their new custom semi. Also coming back thanks to Wilson’s NAPA Auto Parts is world famous artist Kenny Youngblood who will do a framable hot rod or race car picture for each patron free for the asking. Plus, there will be a GIANT model car contest - one of the biggest in the Northwest, a Wild NASCAR simulator and free Hot Wheels for the kids each day of the show! It’s truly affordable family fun!
The doors open on Friday night at 7 PM and will be open until 10 PM. Bring a can for food for the Friday Night Food Drive and get in the show for just $5.00. On Saturday, the show opens at 9AM and goes until 6 PM.
