Texas named David Ash the starting QB for the Alamo Bowl, while Oregon State football coach Mike Riley remains undecided.

More about what he's thinking will be in Tuesday's GT here

If you missed my Monday story on Riley and his time as coach of the San Antonio Riders, check it out here.

The thing that stuck out at practice Monday was the scout team wearing actual Texas jerseys. The equipment guys found them and put them on key players.

The scout team offense commonly wears different jerseys as a point of emphasis for the defenders, but this was a first with the actual opponent's uniform.

Another sign that bowl prep is getting more intense, practice was also longer than usual. The veterans weren't dismissed with 30 minutes left like they were last week. They were there the the whole two hours, but the rookies stayed extra long.

Check out the below video from OSU about the team's tight ends.
